“You’re never as good as you think… and you’re never as bad as you think.”
My coach told me that years ago, and it always stayed w me. Both sides of that statement matter.
When things are going well, it’s easy to believe you’ve figured it out.
You haven’t. You’re just seeing the result of preparation, timing, and maybe a little momentum. It’s important to stay grounded, humble and hungry.
And when things aren’t going your way, it’s just as easy to question everything. Your ability, your direction, your worth.
Don’t. One moment doesn’t define you—good or bad.
The people who last—the ones who actually build something—don’t ride emotional highs and lows. They stay steady. They focus on the work. They show up again.
Confidence is built in the middle. Not when you’re winning… Not when you’re losing… But in how you respond to both.
Win or lose, keep repping like it’s day 1. 0-0 on the scoreboard, time is irrelevant.
